IMS Ibiza 2024: The countdown has begun!

If you like electronic music, you must come to the 15th IMS Ibiza event from 24th to 26th April. This annual event in Ibiza brings together masterclasses, talks, debates and outdoor sessions by the best DJs on the scene.

This amazing event of the electronic music industry will be the last week of this month and it’s a great reason to come over to Ibiza if you want to know all the latests trends in the industry and hear what some of the most relevant figures think about it. And don’t forget the opening parties planned for that same weekend: Amnesia Ibiza (26th April), Pacha Ibiza (26th April), Ushuaïa Ibiza (27th April), Hï Ibiza (27th April), Destino (28th April) and Club Chinois (28th April).

IMS Ibiza: what is it?

IMS Ibiza is a conference held on the island and devoted to the electronic music industry. This event aims to boost the collaboration, development and creation of future music through a series of talks, debates, masterclasses and other events focusing on the changes and opportunities found in the electronic music industry. It’s a must for fans of electronic music and for current or aspiring professionals in the industry.
IMS Ibiza is the main action of the International Music Summit, a global platform created in 2007 to develop electronic music from different angles (business, culture, education, technology and well-being). In fact, one of the founding members is the well-known DJ Pete Tong.

the grand event: IMS Dalt Vila

The biggest highlight of IMS Ibiza is the outdoor 7-hour DJ party in the bastion of Santa Llucía, one of the iconic spots in the city of Ibiza. With amazing views of the harbour and the old part of the city of Ibiza, this event will be on 26th April from 5pm until midnight and the DJ line-up is: Pete Tong, Alex Wann, Artche, Dj Paulette, Franky Wah, Jaguar, Kalismã, Kilimanjaro, Miss Monique, Mochakk, Róisín Murphy, Sarz and Sasha. Who will be giving talks at IMS Ibiza 2024?

The 15th edition of IMS Ibiza will be held at Mondrian Ibiza and Hyde Ibiza hotels, both in Cala Llonga. On this stage overlooking the sea, guest speakers will take part in debates, conferences and masterclasses to analyse the challenges and opportunities found in the industry. Pete Tong and BBC Radio 1 broadcasters will lead these talks, which this year will focus on topics like the evolution of the amapiano music or trends in the German clubbing scene.

Some of the speakers aligned for IMS Ibiza 2024 are Matt Black (co-founder of the Ninja Tune label), Michiel Beers (founder of the Tomorrowland festival), Wez Saunders and Simon Dunmore (owner and founder of the Defected Records label, respectively), Abel Matutes Prats (president of Palladium Hotel Group) or Aloki Batra (CEO of The Pacha Group), among others, and all this accompanied by about 20 DJs and artists: Fatboy Slim, Sarz, Mochakk, Alex Wann, Chloé Caillet, DJ Paulette, DJ Pierre, TSHA, Farah Nanji, Hilit Kolet, HoneyLuv, Kilimanjaro, Madame Gandhi, Will Clarke…
