Ibiza Winter Markets
Fun for the whole family!
Las Dalias Hippy Market
In San Carlos in the North-East, set in the grounds of a restaurant, this weekly market continues in Saturdays throughout the year. Many consider it to be a more original and traditional alternative to the larger Wednesday market at Es Caná in the summer. Wonderful selection of handmade clothes and jewellery, you can be sure to find that little something for everyone. Open 10.00 h - 18.00 h
Las Dalias Christmas Market
Throughout the month of December (mid December - 23th of Dec. after Boxing Day and beginning of January.) Las Dalias Restaurant is transformed every day into a Christmas Market. Warm snacks, 'Glühwein' and a thriving local community make this a great meeting spot. Open from 17.00 h weekdays, 11.00 h Saturdays, 15.00 h Sundays.
San Jordi 'Rastrillo'
Every Saturday from 09.00 until 14.00 h. Over the last two years, this car boot sale has become extremely popular with locals and visitors alike. It is set in the grounds of the horse-racing track, the 'Hipodromo' in Sant Jordi (at the roundabout to Salinas and the airport). The track is lined with cars peddling an amazing selection of odds and ends.
There are bargains galore, and the bar is a fabulous place to catch up on some local gossip, whilst enjoying a Saturday morning coffee. If you fancy trying your luck, stands are cheap, and positions are given on a first-come first-served basis or can be reserved on Friday afternoons, which does cost a bit more.
