5 Places We Love in San Antonio
There’s no doubt that our favourite place in San Antonio is Hostal La Torre Ibiza which we know you’ll fall in love with at first sight. Apart from our small paradise, we have many other places we like for one reason or another and we’d like to share them with all our customers (and with those who don’t yet know us but have ended up at this post by one of Internet’s mysterious ways). Take note of these and don’t forget to visit them on your holidays in Ibiza and San Antonio.
The Church Square
This is one of the spots in San Antonio that still remembers its origins as a small, quiet sea village. If you get a delicious ice-cream at Capítulo 2 and walk around the church, you’ll soon learn why it’s one of the best examples of a fortress church in Ibiza.
Villa Mercedes
Its garden is one of the best places in San Antonio to enjoy a romantic dinner with live music or have a cocktail with your partner or friends. You’re bound to love the corner with Balinese beds... Tel.: 971 34 85 43. Web.
Punta Galera
This is one of the favourite spots for bathers who are passionate about nudism and seek peace. Its stone terraces take us back in time to when this part of the coast was used as a stone quarry (as the famous Atlantis on the southern coast). Don’t forget to take a good book and diving goggles.
The Promenade
It may seem obvious, but it’s not that obvious if we tell you to put on your trainers and walk or run along it bright and early. Start at Caló des Moro and finish at Punta des Molí, where the old mill stands. Once you get back to the starting point, it will be time to cool down at Bondi Café with one of their freshly squeezed juices. What about orange and watermelon or lime and mint? Sounds refreshing, right?
This is a typical beach bar that is quite a stretch away from the town centre of San Antonio, further beyond Cala de Bou, but it’s worth driving there or getting a taxi to relish their famous grilled fish and one of the tastiest bullit de peix in Ibiza. This dish is a simple fish stew served as a starter dish before the delicious a banda rice. If your mouth is watering, call to book a table or you’ll miss out! Web
