3 mouth-watering tables in Ibiza with a taste of the sea
Ibiza’s waters were always generous to the island, offering its people sea beds full of delicious fish and seafood. One of Ibiza’s greatest appeals is its many fish restaurants along the coast. In this article, we suggest 3 restaurants where you won’t be able to resist licking your fingers. Check them out and... enjoy your meal!
Cala Gracioneta
This is our first suggestion because we love this place and it’s the closest to Hostal La Torre, as it’s on the nearby beach of Cala Gracioneta. From its menu we recommend the delicious –and addictive– mussels in sauce, the coal-grilled clams, fish paella, black rice and the suquet de peix (fish stew). And after lunch (don’t forget dessert), you can take a nap on one of their sun loungers. Website
Port Balansat
This is one of the most popular restaurants among the Ibizan locals thanks to the quality of their rice dishes and fish. The grilled seafood, the bullit de peix (traditional fish stew with a rice dish) and the seafood and fish paella are its specialities. It’s on one of the sides of Port de Sant Miquel in the north of Ibiza. Websitethe fish shack
You’ll love this beach bar if all you want is to enjoy the view of the city of Ibiza, eat a simple dish of sardines and don’t mind that there’s no menu. They only serve the day’s scarlet shrimps, fish and squid on the grill with Ibizan salad. It’s in Cap Martinet, past Sa Punta restaurant and they only take cash, no credit cards.
