5 Plans for Christmas in Ibiza

Reading a book on a beach, hiking on one of its countless tracks, visiting a museum or exploring some of the yet undiscovered spots on its coast are some of the plans Ibiza offers in the winter. But there are also other more festive plans these days like the five we suggest below. Enjoy them!

Visit the crib in Sant Antoni

Until 6th January, the town council of Sant Antoni de Portmany displays its traditional Christmas nativity scene in the former town council building (c/ Bisbe Cardona). Every year, Jesús González carefully and lovingly sets up a different scene and atmosphere. You can see it from Monday to Friday from 5pm to 8pm and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays it is also open from 11am to 1pm. A plan that is only a few-minute drive from Hostal La Torre.

Throughout the Christmas season and until January 31st, you can buy small original pieces of art at the Art Market in Galería Jorge Alcolea in Ibiza. You will find a handpicked array of over 25 artists from Ibiza and other regions in Spain. This is an appealing plan if you’re looking for an original work of art for your home. c/ Púnica, 15.

Celebrate that it’s Christmas in Las Dalias

If you’re still buying presents, don’t forget to visit the Christmas market of Las Dalias. It is open until January 5th from Monday to Friday from 5pm to 9pm, on Saturdays from 10am to 9pm and on Sundays from 3pm to 9pm.

Go out for dinner on New Year’s Eve

Enjoy the end of the year in a different and delicious way with the special New Year’s Eve dinner served at Hostal La Torre. A fun and gourmet plan that includes a party, lucky grapes, Christmas pastries and a DJ session.

Dance into the New Year

If you’d like to welcome 2018 on the dance floor, get off the sofa on January 1st and celebrate the New Year at DC10 with its fantastic party, Circoloco New Year’s Day. It will start at 4pm and the DJs will be Apollonia, Tania Vulcano, Andrea Oliva, Acid Mondays, Seth Troxler and many others.
