The calendars say that the summer begins on 21st June, but for us, the summer comes to Ibiza the day Café Mambo opens its doors and the best electronic music starts to play in the evenings. The event that marks the start of the summer in Ibiza has a date: Friday 11th May. From 5 p.m. to 3 a.m., Café Mambo will come out of hibernation to liven up the evenings and nights in San Antonio. An event you mustn’t miss if you’re staying at Hostal La Torre that weekend. You can expect a party with the best atmosphere and a line-up specially designed for such a magical moment as is an opening in Ibiza. the early bird openings this summer

Café Mambo is not the only club to open its doors during the first fortnight of May. On 10th May, Sankeys opens its doors and on 12th May Amnesia is back with a line-up that includes Luciano, Richy Ahmed, David Squillace and Luca Donzelli. On the other hand, Pacha opened its doors on 4th May after closing its doors for the winter for the first time ever. But we’ll have to wait for the openings of its main events until the last week in May, like Pure Pacha | Paris by night (26th May) and Solomun +1 (27th May).
