Ibiza 2018: Dj sessions at Hostal La Torre
In the summer, there are moments destined to become a memory that we will later rescue during the gloomy winter days. You can enjoy one of those unique moments any afternoon from the terrace of Hostal La Torre with its exceptional view of the famous Ibiza sunsets. But the magic does not only depend on that day’s horizon, it also depends on the creative sparks of DJs as they create sounds at Hostal La Torre. This summer, discover this on our terrace with the best sessions of Balearic chill-out music.
balearic chill-out at Hostal La Torre
Afternoons at Hostal La Torre are wrapped in Balearic chill-out music, an electronic music genre that is known for its eclecticism, creativity, sensuality and good vibe and that originated in San Antonio. The father of this well-known style is DJ Alfredo, a myth of the Ibizan scene that visits our terrace every Tuesday to bring music to the sunset at Hostal La Torre. On Mondays, we welcome another legendary name of the Balearic chill-out scene, DJ Pippi, whose mixes have been heard in Ibiza and other spots in the world since 1984.
Gooding, Buda, Andy Wilson, Chris Coco and other well-known Djs
On Wednesdays, the sunset is accompanied by our resident DJ Pete Gooding, who we talked about in our post The Sound of Pete Gooding and you can listen to his playlist on Spotify, which he updates regularly. The programme is completed with the resident DJs Buda –on Thursdays–, Andy Wilson –on Saturdays– and Chris Coco –on Sundays–. Fridays, as the most special day of the week, have been saved for our occasional guest DJs this summer: Kenneth Beyer (one session per month), Mark Broadbent & Andy Livesey (twice a month) and Christian Lenn (once a month). And all this with stunning views of the sea, the sunsets, Nonó cape and Ibiza’s western coastline. Don’t miss this moment; enjoy it and take it home.
