Visit the christmas markets in ibiza

During these dates there are plenty of Christmas markets, so be sure to fit them into your diary. You are bound to find the special present you’re looking for…

  • Christmas market in Las Dalias: during this period, the hippy market of Las Dalias will be open for longer on Saturdays, from 14th December until 5th January. You can visit its stalls every day from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m.
  • Christmas market in Casa Maca: from 12th to 16th December the Casa Maca hotel boutique hosts a Christmas market in its garden for you to buy your presents, eat at their food stalls, drink mulled wine and be inspired by the Christmas spirit.

  • Christmas market in San Antonio: next 15th December, Rossell street will be filled with handicraft, food and charity stalls as well as music shows. And while you’re there, you can visit the local nativity which is set up in the old city council building (c/ Bisbe Cardona) and open to the public.
  • Christmas market in Eivissa: the Parque square hosts this market with Christmas articles once again. This is a good excuse to go into the city and enjoy other events on the programme, including the 'pasacalles' (parade) and micro-concerts. Check all the other Christmas events planned for Eivissa on its website eivissa.es.

join different food events this christmas

During the Christmas period, there are plenty of plans to enjoy Ibiza’s cuisine. Out of the many proposals, we especially recommend the ones hosted by Casa Maca:

  • Cena Uncommon sense: a sensory food experience led by the chef Boris Buono whilst listening to music played by DJ Buda. Date: 22nd December. Phone: 971 806 864.
  • Sunday Roast: a very British meal that Casa Maca serves every Sunday. The traditional roast beef with its Yorkshire pudding and accompanied by a Bloody Mary and live music.

And if you’re looking for a meal on the most important Christmas dates, don’t forget the New Year’s Eve dinner at Casa Maca or the Christmas dinner, Sant Esteban lunch on Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve dinner at Hostal La Torre.
