15 resolutions for Ibiza 2025

Adjust them to your goals and priorities!

Travel to a new place.
If you’ve never been to Ibiza, this proposal is dead easy, especially if you live in a European city (or near one) that flies directly to the White Island: Germany (Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Munich, Stuttgart and Nuremberg), Austria (Vienna and Salzburg), Belgium (Brussels and Antwerp), Copenhagen, Athens, Dublin, France (Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseilles, Nantes, Nice, Paris and Toulouse), Luxembourg, Oslo, Italy (Bari, Bologna, Milan, Naples, Pisa, Rome, Turin, Venice and Verona), the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Rotterdam), Portugal (Porto and Lisbon), United Kingdom (Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Nottingham), Stockholm and Switzerland (Basel, Geneva and Zurich).

And if you live in Spain, you can come over to Ibiza from Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Burgos, Grand Canary, Leon, Madrid, Malaga, Menorca, Oviedo, Palma de Mallorca, Pamplona, Santander, Santiago, Seville, Valencia, Vigo and Zaragoza.

Explore Ibiza in the daytime (too).
If it’s not your first time on the island but you’d like to discover more than your favourite club or beach, rent a car and find all the treasures in Ibiza: learn about its customs, traditional fiestas and typical architecture (e.g. the payesa houses), its restaurants serving local food, the quaint villages inland (Sant Carles, Santa Agnès, Santa Gertrudis, Sant Josep...).

Explore Ibiza at night (too).
Has it been ages since you partied all night long? Why not give it another go? You’re never too old for an Ibizan dance floor! Flower Power, Glitterbox, elrow, La Troya… But if you’re not keen on staying up until the early hours, you can go clubbing until midnight, like Cinderella, at the Children of the 80s party.

Practise gratefulness.
It’s so easy to start journalling by writing three moments, situations, people or objects you're grateful for each day. And when you’re in Ibiza, the list will be endless! You’ll be grateful for the sunset, a yummy paella, the smile you fell in love with, the best summer swim, a perfect Balearic Sound session, a refreshing sangría...

Read more books.
For this resolution we suggest you add at least one of these books to your to-be-read pile: The White Island by Stephen Armstrong; El camino de San Vicente (Road to Sant Vicent) by Leif Borthen; and The Life Impossible by Matt Haig.

Meditate regularly.
If this is one of your New Year’s resolutions, you’ll be happy to know that our hotel boasts a stunning location where you can meditate every morning overlooking the sea and Sa Conillera island. And if you want to make the most of your holidays in Ibiza to learn meditation, the island is home to several businesses specialising in this practice.

Eat healthy.
Ibiza’s traditional food follows the principles that have made the Mediterranean diet one of the healthiest in the world. During your holiday on the island, don’t miss the chance to relish this healthy food through its most traditional recipes, like the bullit de peix, tomato and crusts salad, grilled fish, rice dishes and fish paella, skate stew...

Visit Formentera.
Exploring the neighbouring island on an outing is really easy and barely takes any planning. You simply have to save a day for the outing, decide what to do in Formentera (if you want to go directly to Ses Illetes or explore the island) and book a car, motorbike or bike if you need to rent one. An easy and satisfying resolution (far more than doing sit-ups for sure!)

Learn something new.
During the summer, we often organise workshops and special activities to learn to paint on material, prepare the famous Ibizan liquor called Hierbas Ibicencas, create objects from recycled materials... Ask about the activities planned during your stay. And if there aren’t any planned for those dates, we’ll recommend other workshops led by expert businesses on the island.

Do more exercise.
Are you intending to run every day? There are plenty of promenades in Ibiza for a good jog. Would you rather ride a bike or go hiking? There are so many trails for different levels of expertise. Or do you want to do water sports? San Antonio bay offers the widest range of sailing and water sports on the island. What about horse riding? Done! Or do you want to get your diving certification? No problem! Discover beautiful diving spots with caves and shipwrecks? Yes and with so much light! Or maybe you’d like to lose track of time in the water with a snorkel mask? There are so many coves for this. This resolution is dead easy to fulfil during your holidays in Ibiza, right?

Watch the sunset every day.
Meeting this daily goal during your holiday on the island is so easy. Especially if you’re staying at or coming to Hostal La Torre with its famous Ibizan sunset all 365 days. And accompanied by the best Balearic Sound sessions.

Travel alone and meet different people.
Ibiza is one of the easiest places in the world to meet people and live new experiences. Since the 30s, when the inflow of European and American tourists began, the island has been a magnet for cosmopolitan, creative, curious and open-minded travellers who receive a warm, friendly and tolerant welcome on arrival.

Keep a good life-work balance.
Avoid getting exhausted by setting clear boundaries, especially if you’ve got to work remotely during your stay in Ibiza: go for a quick swim in the sea, for a walk from one end of San Antonio bay to the other, practise yoga by the sea first thing in the morning...

Shop responsibly.
Avoid impulsive shopping and prioritise quality over quantity. During your holidays in Ibiza you’ll find special crafts created by artists and jewellers, many restaurants that focus on local product, organic markets... As Coco Chanel said, Less is more.

Contribute to the community and territory.
This resolution is easy to meet in Ibiza with these actions: save water by taking shorter showers and reusing your towel, don’t leave cigarette ends or other rubbish on beaches, don’t anchor over oceanic posidonia if you’re sailing, don't walk on wild dunes, donate to local charities (like Ibiza Preservation)... Not at all complicated, is it?
